Light Up the Holidays at Souk Al Seef’s Winter Wonderland
Dubai, UAE, December 2024: Souk Al Seef, Dubai’s vibrant waterfront destination where the past meets the present, is set to dazzle with its biggest winter holiday season yet. With spectacular experiences, encounters and sights for all ages, visitors can look forward to some of the city’s most sparkling celebrations to ring in the holidays, Dubai Shopping Festival and more from 6 December to 19 January.
Souk Al Seef Tree Lighting Ceremony
At the heart of all the activity stands a magnificent 39-metre-high tree, one of the tallest in the region, decorated with traditional baubles and trimmings visible from across the creek.The festivities also include the chance to meet Santa and his elves, write letters and create art to send to the North Pole as well as enthralling stage shows and kids’ activities to ring in the winter holiday flair.
Dubai Lights at Souk Al Seef
Souk Al Seef is once again among the addresses for the citywide Dubai Lights extravaganza, with all 1.8 kilometres of the destination transforming into a wonderland of light installations that dive into Dubai’s rich culture and heritage. Drawing from the country’s history of pearl diving, this year’s theme is all things water, with visitors invited to marvel at an 18-metre-long light sculpture that brings to the shore traditional fishing nets teeming with illuminated sea creatures. Another installation delves deeper into the fascinating world of pearl diving and fishing, a nod to the trades that once graced the creek. From guests being greeted by illuminated sand dunes that bring the desert to the creek to the tree itself, Dubai Lights’ iconic installations will guide the way as you stroll across the Souk Al Seef promenade, through the souk and along the restaurants.

Souk Al Seef Creek Festival returns in spectacular style this winter, offering visitors an enchanting blend of music and theatre along the destination’s iconic cultural promenade.
This year, two captivating, themed shows promise to entertain families and ignite imaginations.
Step into the magical world of the North Pole with Souk Al Seef’s Winter Parade, where Santa, his elves, and a host of acrobats and dancers bring the souks to life with dazzling parades and circus-style performances.Guests can also enjoy a meet and greet with Santa after the show.
For a hearty dose of laughter, don’t miss Harlequin Circus: An Exquisite Italian Spectacle, a vibrant comedic show that will leave audiences of all ages in awe and in stitches.
